Bryan Little is on LTIR and to be honest Risto makes the defence worse than it already is.

Why would the Sabres give up an asset to move Okposo if they have $40 million in cap space??

From now on I'm not giving the time of day to Buffalo AGMs until they treat the Dahlin situation with at least a little bit of rationality... this is getting ridiculous

Aside from the analytical factor noone seems to recognize that it would add toxicity to the situation

No question he would hold out and very likely he'd demand a trade it would get very ugly very fast

It's very straightforward to parse out his situation and see that he's a victim of circumstance almost entirely

      +/- must die

agreed what the jets need is a defensively minded partner for Morrisey whose taken a bit of a downturn this year. Really surprised they did not pursue Hamonic during last offseason as with that cap hit and living in Winnipeg u got to think the fit was there. 2021-2022 will probs be when they overhaul the Dcore and maybe allow Heinola or Samberg to come up full time unless one or both are moved.

????. Probably no team wants Okposo and his 6m X 2 cap hit. Certainly not Arizona
Though Risto is OK, Jets could probably spend 5.25m better, and Little if he stays on LTIR is meaningless in any trade
Trouble with trading Eichel and trying just to get cap free assets in return, the Kings might just say, we spend 10m on a UFA(s), and keep our young assets.

Just addressing the Little aspect here, not the Risto part.

The idea of trading Little is a good idea if he is going to be on LTIR next year. Moving his contract would give the Jets added cap flexibility by allowing daily accrual of cap space instead of being stuck in LTIR.
