Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This trade would happen after this year so Montreal would not be trading to a division rival.(So ignore the cap space cause edmonton will have it in the offseason.)I know habs fans hate him but I don't know about management so maybe a 3rd instead.

Yeah I’m not thinking about trading Lavoie for Drouin at all, absolutely non existent the last couple of games. Too much imo, if the Habs don’t trade just go for a better option in the off-season, it’s as easy as that

I think he could fit in nice with mcdavid as in tampa when he played with other high level players like stamkos he excelled and put up points. Lavoie doesn't really have a great fit in the oilers roster as he wouldn't be playing over mcdavid, draisital and mcleod making him a 4th line center when we can get more value instead for him.

Habs management is still happy with Drouin (maybe a little frustrated that he isn't putting up points this year) but I don't think they are looking to move him as much as fans are.

I think depending on how Drouin will perform this post-season will determined if he’s getting traded this summer

Bro Lavoie plays both Center and RW, he’d be an amazing big power forward type of sniper on the wing, I see wing for both Holloway and Lavoie and if they want Drai on the wing, it only helps that they also play center. As for Drouin.. I agree with the skilled players argument but I don’t really like his cap hit, there’s some risk there, there’s better options tbh, I’d go for Duclair if I’m quite honest as an RFA. His creativity and offensive mind would kill with either McDavid or Drai

Edmonton declines. Duclair would be better as someone else said. Lavoie is only getting moved for another young player or he is included in a big package for a big player
