100% gotta be an extension in place for Sasha for that deal to be even remotely okay for Montreal it's giving me anxiety just thinking about it otherwise lol 😵

The 1st could even be in the lottery 😬

Suzuki is so damn good

Tatar can haz respectburger 🥺

One of the best possession forwards of generation

Superb defensively (75th percentile xGA)

Similar pts last 3 years as RNH without elite linemates

That contract ^ should be his signing bonus

Montreal is not in need of another retool we are a young team that has had our struggles since the youth movement began sure but give the team a chance to evolve ffs. We don't need to do any of these trades and Drouin is not going to be exposed in the ED. We may or may not have a deep run this post-season butthat doesn't mean everything is all doom and gloom in Montreal.

florida is not bad anymore
a contender would never trade their #1 center

I doubt the Jets would bite on that Kulak proposal unless it was a 21-22 trade deadline depth deal. The Jets need quality defensemen (preferably right handed) as opposed to yet another replacement-level one.

Is he? Because he's been invisible for almost a month now... maybe longer

I think he has the potential to be pretty good. The whole "Elite 1C" thing was always a bit of a stretch. Kind of reminds me of RNH, which isn't a bad thing long term, just maybe not what he was hyped up to be. If he can have a solid offseason, bulk up a bit and get stronger he'll be fine.

Ottawa declines that Byron offer. If Byron were in his final season, maybe, but a 3rd round pick in a weak and difficult to scout draft will not help Ottawa who already has a deep prospect pool, and Byron has two full seasons after this. It's a NO.

Huge difference between ''not bad anymore'' and a contender. I wouldn't label a team with near-zero playoff experience and Babrovski as their goalie as a ''contender''.
