The CBJ deal is nuanced & interesting & original 👍

Too lazy to evaluate fully

But constructive nonetheless

There's so much wrong with this I don't even know where to start.

- They can buyout Neal for $1.9M cap hit, saving $1.9M is not worth giving up Jones + a 1st - especially when you've got nearly $9M in cap space
- They can pick up better goalies than Elvis in free agency for around $4M, there's zero reason to give up so many assets for a MEH goalie
- Overpay for Nugent-Hopkins
- Too much draft capital lost with no actual improvement to the team
