I mean, we could nitpick this all day but the selections look good and the team is not half bad. This was a good bit of work, nice.

calgary would be fine if seattle took gio and his 6.75mil cap hit lol, they would only give up a pick to protect an 8th forward if they still had bennett and he had a breakout year (obviously neither of which happened)

I think philly prefers you to take on JvR or Hayes, I'm not sure why you don't pick Lauzon over Zboril from Boston, and I'm not sure why Toronto protects 4 defensemen - do people really care all that badly about Holl?
I also suspect Kraken will go for younger, higher ceiling players than Gudas, Shattenkirk, Jake Allen and Tyler Pitlick etc. but that's more of a preference thing. Also not sure why they'd pick Svechnikov from Detroit - seems entirely based on his name and gene-pool. They'll probably go more off the board than most expect, knowing their analytics hires.
I'm excited to see how the eventual team looks!

Pens likely expose Zucker and Tanev right now over McCann and Blueger. I can see Seattle taking Zucker

If they don't protect ovi I'm talking to him in seattle. Sure he would never sign there but what the hell, cant hurt. Plus you can tell your fans you tried getting him.

Don't understand that Ladd selection. If he remains on the roster his contract is way too long for Seattle to take on. Somehow you haven't placed his 5.5.m cap hit in your roster.
Johansen at 8m X 4 years. Can't see Seattle selecting him. 8m on a UFA is much better value.

The difference between soucy and JEE is much bigger than a 2nd.

I have Ladd buried in the minors. They could buy him out too. Either way, an expansion team with cap space taking a bad contract for a first-round pick makes a ton of sense and Ladd is the worst contract in the league for a guy who isn't a LTIR stash.

???? Burying him in the minors still is a cap hit of 4.4m. His contract is too long have all that cap wasted for three years. No, Seattle is will try to put the best team on the ice. A 25th overall pick, may/not help you add all for years.

I don't think Ottawa protects Zaitsev. They shouldn't, anyway. Do they have to protect 3 D?
As a Boston & Ottawa guy, about what I expect on both teams. Not sure that Lauzon doesn't get picked over Zboril, but it's probably one of the two.
