he's 5.2 mil against the cap, that's a real top 6 forward. Don't tell me that isn't a problem.

He's worth about 2M of that so thats 3.2M against the cap which isn't a top 6 forward

even if the window is now it's better to bring in someone younger and faster with that cap. He's in decline. It's ok to build around your aging stars, but you have to know when to kick the cap out to bring in younger legs.

Lets say Calgary moves Lucic and their 2022 1st. With Bennett gone too Tkachuk is literally all of their toughness. We look at the free agent market, who can we bring in thats worthwhile?

Kraken logo will be better with some faces, and some wars on the ice. Not going anywhere with the dough they put up. Kinda 50/50 logo, could go either way like the way of the thrashers or other forgotten teams or new fad with success on the ice
