Description
A few players from my last expansion draft wont meet minimum games played so they are out!
6 players from my last expansion foray, from 2 months ago, they were traded, most likely, to avoid being drafted. I'm definitely close despite Canes fans saying, Hayden Fleury, wasn't a candidate to be traded or drafted... oof or Ducks fans being so wrong that Adam Henrique was too valuable (waivers, goes unclaimed)
Homers, stay away, you'll be blocked! Already had a few bitter folks that I called out in my ACGM, try to troll me in spite. I love this place!
The emergence of Jared McCann, Justin Holl, Rudolfs Balcers has created some tough decisions.
Poile made the tough decision of protecting Jarnkrok instead of Neal last expansion but this time he has little choice but to expose him and go 4-4. I think Duchene will also be exposed but no one wants that contract. The Kings just gave away Carter at retention, they'll surely expose Dustin Brown with this current direction in cost cutting.
Goalies will be taken if cost effective and lack of options.

Giordano, Jarnkrok, Brown, Palat will go for a nice bounty at the trade deadline to recoup even more assets

I know we need to clear cap space, but I would be genuinely shocked if Evander Kane gets exposed.

That’s because he won’t be exposed. The Sharks will run a 7F-3D protection system and go...
Couture, Kane, Hertl, Labanc, Meier, Gambrell/Balcers, Donato
Burns/Simek, Karlsson, Vlasic
The exposed player will be one of Gambrell, Balcers, Burns, or Simek, with Burns being selected if Seattle takes the compensation of getting picks back.

Who's your 3rd goalie? You need to take 3.

Yep, sorry, I missed him as I was scanning through the names the first time.

My sincerest apologies..

Other than that, this is a good list, well done. I'd really miss Cam though, he's been great for us this year.

Thanks. Such a major pain to do it with custom teams. This was so much easier and cleaner with the Kraken option. Now, most of this wont happen because Gms will surely overplay their hand here. That, somehow Alexei Emelin and Luca Sbisa which should have been cap dumps last expansion were taken for nothing so..

It doesn’t. It’s insane. If the bruins want to get rid of Moore that bad they can burry him super easy, or the buyout is real cheap.

Imo they protect Jarnkrok-Arvidsson-Forsberg-Kunin

Also, fyi, Riley Stillman just signed 1.35x3

Giving up virtually nothing to dump Moore isn't insane in a last year Cup window but continue on making a mountain out of a mole hill. Every dollar counts for the Bruins and they'll lose Lauzon or Zboril without a deal done with Seattle. Marc Staal 1 year went for a 2nd but Moore's 3 years wont go for "more" yea ok buddy. The low buyout cost is the whole point and why Seattle could be doing it. You literally explained why this deal could get done unlike say James Neal that is buyout proof. Moore is one of the few that is worthwhile to take on for Seattle and Boston is desperate enough to do it in win-now mode.

Some ppl here just like to yell at clouds, I swear

Bruins have plenty of cap space and that is far from virtually nothing.

I would take a look at the players involved, and maybe take a look at the bruins page on capfriendly. This makes zero sense.

Saw that. I did the contracts pretty quickly last night just doing 1x1. Decent deal.

Virtanen news essentially could end his career

Burakovsky, André

Simek, Radim

Burakovsky wont be certainly protected. He's a luxury making a lot of money compared to the others and the Avs will be in a cap crunch and they also need to make room for Mackinnon in a few years.

So you lose Burakovsky in a few months or a year. Either way you cant afford him so cap flexibility is paramount. Jost/Nuke are better assets under cost control in lesser roles. Bura isn't overpaid but he's a luxury they cant afford same as the Capitals thought and they were right!

Nuke is the better pick but I originally thought they pick Graves as these GMs overvalue intangibles. Vegas did the same thing picking players like Sbisa, Emelin without incentives when cheaper, younger forwards were available.
Mayfield is actually terrible since Toews left but maybe the Kraken bite

Gone back and forth between Graves and Bura
