thats too much for Grubauer. considering Binnington got 6x6. Hes not getting a higher aav with half the term. Lehner signed 5x5 and Markstrom singed 6x6. Grubauer at the high end is 6x6 but probably closer to 5.5m aav on a long term deal .

Sadly Calvert is pretty much done, he wont be coming back at that price tag.

They have the either they cup winning pedigree (I think blues vastly over paid for binnington, or the longer resume in markstrom

He will get that 6x6 range like I said but not more, if you pay more than good luck in a flat cap Era to said team. It would suck to walk away from Grubauer but he has to fit within the avs pay grade.

If Grubi does walk, there is confidence that the Avs will find a good cheap starter who will do what Grubi does, especially with that D Core in front of him. Even post expansion the Avs D core will be better next season.
