I don’t think they need to blow it up yet. They’re relatively young as it is. Use the 1st rounders to try and get a C to play with Laine. They have quality top 6 wingers and Jones and Werenski have shown they can carry the load on the back end. Torts will be gone and that should help too.

Could go after RNH or Danualt UFAs or trade for someone like Strome Duchene or maybe even Hertl.

Not trading Jones without getting a #1C back. And taking on Ladd's contract is a good way to make sure we don't get to keep any of Werenski/Laine/Roslovic/the goaltenders either.
