Really don't like the idea of bringing back Joey, considering the players turned on his lazy habits towards the end (his benching by Tortorella was, I kid you not, by popular demand). Combine that with his contract being a major obstacle for that 2022 offseason when Jones and Werenski and Laine and the goaltenders and Roslovic are all up for new contracts, and this just ends up looking very very worrisome.

Schultz has been awesome for the caps this year, why would we trade him? And for a 4th nonetheless? He's been offensively productive and would have greater value than that, even if they did trade him. But the caps are still contending, so why trade a top 4 d-man for a 4th

Because jensen has also been a top 4 and you have little to no cap space

Jensen has been on the 3rd pair with Chara while Schultz has been with Dillon. Much rather move Dillon than anyone, as he has pretty much the same cap hit as Schultz, but has not been as good. Dillon could be picked up by Seattle though

Never said he was bad, just hasn't been as good as Schultz/Jensen, plus he's got a Seattle connection playing with the Seattle Thunderbirds in the WHL, and that's close to home for him. It would make sense in that regard too. But all of that is speculation
