Doesn't make too much sense for NJ. We're giving away our whole prospect pool

Or Colorado, why trade good players now for futures to be good Later If you are contending, (also you don't get Makar without Hischier or Hughes)

Did you have to do that in 2 trades on NHL21?

Avs would never do this. None of those assets are likely to get anywhere close to as good as Makar is. Not to mention that this trade would stick a fork in the Avs cup window.

This is a nonsensical. I get this is all for fun, but that is just stupid, I don’t think there is a realistic package that NJ could ever put together that compels COL to trade Makar but it definitely starts with Hughes and multiple 1st round picks.

    Its for fun.
Also, NJD would never trade Hughes to Colorado unless it started with Makar and multiple 1sts.
    So, they'll never get close.

You’re high. Makar is an elite top 3 dmen right now, Hughes is potential NJ would be the one sending multiple 1st rd picks in a hypothetical trade involving those 2. Don’t think so do an ACGM voting and see who is right.

Yeah it’s for fun, but thought provoking fun, not there is a screw loose type of fun.

NJD would not send Hughes to Colorado for Makar.
Not sure they would consider that exchange...or why they would add any picks to that.
But yes, that would be a “screw loose” type of deal indeed.
