    Why would we trade a first line scorer for a backup goalie? Palat would be the last guy to go and this would only happen if we got really desperate

    I mean. It's nice to see something other than Johnson to Seattle with a pick and a prospect for a change.

    That's a heavy influx of UFAs tho. Tampa has the depth of fill a number of these roles from within.

    By this post, Tampa is desperate, Bracco on an NHL team, on the third liner with Boyd. But Tampa somehow has to rid themselves of 10m in cap. Palat and Killorn are two likely candidates with no cap being returned.

    Starting this summer, Palat can be traded to 20 teams.
