    His career comparables so far are all people who get discussed as some of the best D to ever play hockey (Bourque, Potvin, etc.) why do you say that?

    Seems okay in terms of prospect projections I'd just suggest Jost in place of Ranta there for sure I'm not really sure why folks are so high on him

    i don't know about ranta being a top 6 player let alone an nhl player. the rest look pretty good. a bit early to say what barron will bring but hopefully a top 4.

    The scouting report on Ranta is that he is a big body, skates well and has a good shot (led UM in goals this year). That's a set of raw materials you can work with and is low risk, high reward. The chances of him becoming a 2nd liner are pretty low but the potential is there.
