actually ya know what, im not sure. but stone is the best player in the deal and vegas is getting a cap dump in Voracek, so i feel like you could argue vegas shouldnt be giving up extra on top of Stone

Voracek is no just a cap dump.

Is he overpaid, yes? But not by that much, and hes consistent and has no injury history. Hes a reliable 60+ pt 2nd line player and will most likely remain one through his contract.

And yes Stone is the best player in the deal if youre looking at pts alone.

PHI says no. Glass and Holden dont equal Voracek and Coots, a 1st and 2mil in retention is way too much for Stone

Considering the cap is going to be flat the entirety of Voracek's contract he 100% is a cap dump. Yeah he is still a solid player but that contract would be an anchor for a team like Vegas so tight against the cap. Vegas has comparable players at 5M so if Philly wants to retain on him then he will have positive trade value.

I am glad you pointed out that Stone is the best player when looking at points alone. We can now point out that Stone is one of the best defensive forwards in the league and arguably the best in this regard in this trade. So the best offensive and defensive player in the trade.

Philly has every right to say no but if you are going after Stone there is a good chance this is under valuing him.
