Description

Our 20 man roster with Gallagher in it fits under the cap even without the space we banked from earlier in the year.
We can play Caufield, if that’s what’s best for the team. Personally, I’d rather have Romanov playing but with that said, if the message to him is « it’s been a solid rookie season so far, well done, this is not a punishment, it’s a strategic decision for you to spend the next couple weeks in the gym, it’s going to be a physical opening round series. »
If that’s the case, then I’m fine with it. And he can come back a week before the playoffs, or something like that.

Gallagher is not coming back before the playoffs, Probably game 1 or 2. His prognosis was 6 weeks and there has been no update saying he was ahead of schedule
