Pavelski won’t get protected due to the exposure requirements. They have to leave 2 forwards who are under contract exposed and Pavelski and Faksa are the odd ones out. The NMC are not being waived by the top three and they don’t want to lose Hintz or Gurianov.

Zacha will be protected. NJ will probably get a deal done quickly in the offseason with one of Merkley, Bastian or McLeod to meet that second forward requirement.

The Expansion Draft needs to be made for the 2021/2022 NHL Season. Not the one that's almost over. Glendening is a pending UFA therefore Detroit's not losing him plus i seriously doubt Glendening would sign with Seattle he will resign back with Detroit along with Bernier after the ED.

Arvidsson is #2 on the protected forwards list behind Forsberg in Nashville. Absolutely not a snowball's chance in hell he gets exposed.
