Yeah, and he fits well there. I don't have a problem with him playing third line minutes

Nash plus Hyman equals checking line.

Simmonds can't handle that assignment.

Nash is a purely defensive C.

So who replaces Simmonds, and where does he go?

Mikheyev is the obvious choice, hes been the most consistent member of any checking line.

Then you decide if you want Simmonds adding some muscle to line 2, or Thornton.

Ot you run the greybeards as a trio in L4.

I have a feeling there's going to be 13 or 14 fwds used in Round 1.

Did you purposely put muzzin and brodie together? Sometimes people do it by accident

If Campbell is hot coming into the playoffs I don't know how you don't play him.

yep and honestly people be complaining about chucky but so far with him and the leafs hes been great.

when he has been on the ice 11 goals have gone in but going the other way he has been on the ice for 12 goals for us including 2 himself and has also led to 3 comebacks (1 against the oilers, one against the flames, and 1 against the senators)

is he a defensive liability sometimes but lets be honest with ourselves Tavares and Nylander arent much better, he has been good for us as both an instigator, forechecker, and has reawakened Tavares and Nylander.

So cutting him just aint smart

I.... don't have any problems with this roster.

Spezza, Thornton, Simmonds, Kerfoot (!), Galchenyuk, Robertson and Engvall seem like the guys who will rotate positions if necessary. Nash stays in simply because he's the death of anything happening on the ice and that's a really good thing if Toronto is winning late.

Yeah, I think hes a pretty good fit with JT and Nylander. Especially if they are pretty sheltered with a healthy amount of OZ starts.

I'd give that trio a solid run here to end the season and if they look solid great, if not Kerfoot is likely plan B in that spot.

Yeah, it was on accident. For some reason, cap friendly has it like that automatically
