Then Eichel will not be going to CBJ. There are too many teams that will give more than this package and what you are saying your maximum would be.

I’ve said it before, Eichel just isn’t worth the investment. The assets you’d give up to acquire him would likely just create more holes, at least for CBJ. LA, NJ, NYR, etc. might be a different story.

If you’re going to spend the farm to get Eichel and become a .500 team, you might as well just keep those assets and rebuild, IMO.

I don’t think dumping Domi helps here either. We need the offense, and giving up whatever he can contribute in exchange for a middle-pairing D-Man won’t do us much good.
