Description
My thought is
I have heard good things about that 1st line( haven't watched to much of it my self)
2nd line is other players I could see on that top line
3rd line is Vetrean Ryan mentoring Pelletier
4th line is a cup champion mentoring Brink and Ruzicka
1st pairing is IMO out top pairing when Gio leaves(could be expansion draft trade retirement or walking)
2nd pairing is 2 older guys who I think could work well together
3 pairing has been pretty good from what I have seen

As I said in the original post, the value is a huge overpay which I think it would take to get Tanev out of Calgary, they could likely drop the first round pick and it would still favour Calgary significantly. That being said this move helps the future way too much for what this organization has done historically, they will want to remain competitive and likely remain mediocre.
One thing about moving Tanev that would be tough is I think he is the best partner for Valimaki next year, look at the development Hanifin had this season and hope he can do the same for Valimaki.
Also whoever signs Barrie will be very disappointed.

Okay would a 1 for 1 be fair? Who would have to add if not? Who could replace Barrie?

That's a no from Philly, Tanev is a good player having a great season, but he isn't worth 2 high picks in a loaded draft year and a B+ prospect.

Tanev's value is likely a 2nd or a high 3rd, if the Flyers were to throw Bobby Brink and a 3rd I think value wise you're very close. In the minds of Flames fans (mine included) and likely the organization Tanev is worth a low end 1st because of how he played this year but I don't see a team paying that because of the future risk of a stay at home d man that blocks a hundred shots a year.

I just don't think there is a strong enough RD UFA class to justify moving Tanev, Barrie is the anti-Tanev and almost 60% of his points are secondary assists, he can chip a puck out from behind his net and McDdavid Draisaitl do the rest, I think unless he's back in Edmonton then expect his production to drop significantly. If he does stay in Edmonton I think that opens up the only 2RD option this year which would be Larsson, who I think unanimously people would keep Tanev over Larsson.
Unless they make a separate move for an RFA like Pionk, Jokiharju, Hronek it will be a very tough hole for the Flames to fill. Filling in a 3RD though, much easier, Hamonic, Gudbransson, Demers, Bogosian etc.
