Calgary easily declines, tkachuk is untouchable and this doesn’t even come close to getting him. It’s crazy how terrible this is

Tkachuk isn't getting traded unless he is a pending UFA and told us he isn't signing here again, demands a trade, or a MASSIVE overpay where you WILL lose the deal no matter what is offered

I think you're about right there, it is a real parallel move. Two very similar players, both speedsters who are pushed off the puck too easily and not known for their defense. Gaudreau is the higher end player/producer, but TK is cheaper, younger and under contract for longer, so IMO they're even. (As a PHI fan, Tkachuk is the player PHI would want, but in the interest of making a change in the top 6, Gaudreau will do)

NSH declines. I'd rather give Pitlick a shot at 3C before giving up assets for Patrick, and the rest of that package doesn't do much for the Preds.

JVR isn't getting traded in division. TK for Johnny is possible, I just don't see the point. Savard will fetch more than that. Foerster will not come up to play 4th line(same reasoning as why Frost was never brought up for 3rd or 4th C). I highly doubt they trade Lindblom, unless it was a clear upgrade...not to mention Foligno is probably going back to CBJ(I think 31 Thoughts mentioned that).
