I think the Jackets have good enough depth on D, and trading probably their best forward in the trade? I could she Laine for Rus and a couple picks

Kukan and Peeke are good enough? They are currently carrying 9 Dmen and Risto is better than 8 of them. (Werenski is on IR which would make 10) Domi is their best forward?

Risto is worth no more than a 3rd AT BEST, the guy stinks.
he has zero hockey sense, which is a shame because physically he is the prototypical dman.

Do you seriously believe McCabe will get such a contract? I know that you are a fan of McCabe, but no one will give him such a contract after such an injury. It will probably be a one-year contract to see how he can continue to play, especially his skating will be of concern.

They Jets may give a 5th at most for Miller for added depth, but he's definitely not worth two pieces.
