I don’t know about the US, but I feel that my fellow Canadians are on the verge of a total mental breakdown with the Covid confinement. Imagine if you were trap in a hotel room since January...

they're only confined to their hotel rooms when they're on the road....still takes a toll when you're away from your family and friends on a road trip and can't even hang out with your teammate outside of the practice or game. I hope he's okay, he's a young guy with tons of talent and I hope he gets to continue to play the game he loves but if he needs to step away then he should for his mental health if thats why he stepped away right now.

We really don’t have a clue ,but if it’s mental health or physical health issues .We got to support our boy. The media hasn’t been to kind and his play hasn’t been stellar. But we don’t know and to be honest with ya it’s really none of our business.But in the end he’s 26yrs old and we send him our love ❤️ and get back to a healthy state. Hockey can wait. Focus on family.
