Danault already turned down 6 x $5 million from Montreal, There's noway he's taking less from Columbus.

Jarvis has more value than Laine. Also, Laine is one of my least favorite players in the league so please don't bring him here.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say Jarvis is more valuable than Laine, but no way I trade a prospect like Jarvis for Laine. No way the cap works, even if they dump Niederreiter.

He's ok but I feel like his stats are inflated because of Columbus' defensive system.

Refer to Duclair on the Panthers, he probably wont take that much less but his production this year has not helped him earn that original offer on the UFA market

I thought maybe they were last year but this year for lack of a better term. We have absolutely sucked in both ends of the ice. Both of our goalies for a stretch were our best players. Both korpi and Elvis. The save percentage difference between the 2 shows how much better Elvis is than korpi and korpi is a solid goalie too.

It's a bit bold and crazy, but it could be true. I don't disagree with you if you don't agree with my hot take. But there is no way we are trading a top notch prospect like Jarvis for Laine.

You might want to check, Elvis is the Jackets starter and Holland makes that trade all day everyday.
