Both teams decline and that team misses the playoffs by 15 points.

Vancouver says no. Boeser not up for sale especially for that price.

Only way Vancouver trades Boeser is if they get a young top pairing RHD and a 1st coming back.

While I agree Vancouver probably has no interest in moving Boeser, they would have to consider a deal that includes a top 3 possibly first overall pick along with a defenseman that would at least be in their top 6. Maybe they ask Buffalo to take back a contract in Roussel or Beagle but the value is reasonable

Would you trade Reinhart for a 1st, 3rd and a bottom pairing dman?

It depends on what the direction of the team is. If Eichel is being moved or I get the sense he will want out sooner rather than later then I would trade Reinhart for that return in a heartbeat. Top 3 pick in the draft and a solid bottom pair defenseman that I can keep to help bring the youth along and flip for another 3rd at the deadline. If Jack wants to stay then it depends on if I can fit Reinharts contract into the salary structure. The Sabres have lots of RFA's that need to be resigned including Dahlin.
