I mean, wood does have 17 goals this year. It’s certainly not crazy. I just don’t think the bruins are in the business of selling low when they don’t have to.

Bro what. Devils decline that trade

    Wood>DeBrusk

    learn how to be realistic

Lmao hes literally having an off year

Fine, bruins shoulda traded debrusk for Hughes last year when debrusk had 19 goals and hughes sucked

Lmao oyu are objectively wrong... sorry

They are not even close. They have the same exact career numbers despite Debrusk playing an entire season less of games and struggling terribly this year. Debrusk had back to back seasons with 20+ goal seasons in under 70 games and the 19 in 70. Wood has zero 20 goal seasons.

At their very best Wood is a 3rd liner on a good team. Debrusk at his best, ie 27 goals in 68 games, is capable of first line production.

At their best, it is not close.

At their current form it’s not close either. Debrusk has been terrible this year. But going forward I’d rather have what he is capable of as opposed to what Wood is.

It’s like offering Ritchie for Nico because Ritchie has been more productive this year.

2 injuries 2 positive Covid tests and mentally drained - reason for Debrusk struggles

Honestly more concerned over Coyle, he has no excuses

These are both 100% correct. IDK why people cant do ample research like us lmao its so easy

Wood is playing better than DeBrusk so Wood's value is higher than DeBrusk

Really? HUGHES FOR DEBRUSK? Stop being stupid man

U said it yourself!! "Wood is playing better than DeBrusk so Wood's value is higher than DeBrusk"

    So last year:
    Debrusk: 35 points and a -1
    Hughes: 14 points and a -26

So by YOUR OWN LOGIC, you would have traded hughes for debrusk last year!

    You lose man. stop

So we're just going to throw potential out the window. HUGHES WAS 18 LAST YEAR. Use some common sense.

Lmao you are throwing everything out the window. I was providing an example of why you are wrong.

I am on a whole higher level of understanding and logic than you are man.

Sorry but you are objectively wrong.

(Not to mention, you wanna talk potential, debrusks ceiling is a MILE higher than Wood)

If Debrusks ceiling is a mile higher than Wood, then Hughes' ceiling is 100 miles more than DeBrusk

You're a Bruins fan so I doubt your logic is that high

If you want a detailed explanation on why Wood is close in value and potential compared to DeBrusk, look at the response I had to another Bruins fan
