Description
This is Eric Duhatschek's (The Athletic) latest Seattle expansion draft predictions (Published on April 27th). I love the publication and they really do their due diligence but I wanted other folks' thoughts.

I've included in the 'trades' Duhatschek's protected lists. They don't do draft picks/trades in the exercise, but have hinted a few times that some picks might require incentive.

A lot of their choices were RFA Rights choices, so I've just guessed at their contracts roughly. I'm also sure there will be some flips for picks happening (Like Vegas and Methot), as their depth off the bat seems excessive

Justification here is that CBJ will likely trade Korpisalo, and would rather look to Tarasov as a future option than Kivlenieks, and Seattle could take that gamble

They think because of Bouchard coming up they might not re-sign Barrie. And of course this depends on how Klefbom is doing at the time.

Vegas did do it once with Deryk Engelland, and the above team only does it twice. It's also of course not for sure.

It's been the general consensus among Minnesota adherents here for some time that Dumba will be traded pre-draft or else exposed.

I find it hard to believe that Tampa will expose Foote rather than offer up any one of Gourde, (Johnson,) Killorn or Palat. Plus, if it comes to that, a 2022 first is a first.

I wouldn't be surprised if Anaheim exposes Manson in favor of Silfverberg, Steel and Volkov.
