Genuine question... why? Excluding kakko, those pieces are all replaceable. Eichel trumps losing kakko, so in my opinion, this is robbery. And the 1st this year isn’t really that valuable.

IMO the rangers don’t need eichel especially at the price Buffalo fans think he’s worth. Zibby is a perfectly fine 1c and strome is a good 2c and if chytil gets there he can be a 2c. And yeah kakko doesn’t put up crazy offensive numbers but he’s great defensively.

Nice to see a person who understands the value of a potential top 5 center in the league it's gotten to the point that I get worried myself every time I see a Rangers Eichel trade. Also, Rangers Fans need to realize that they are not trading away anything they don't have, Strome gets replaced by Eichel, Kakko is gone but we still have Kravstov and Buch on the RW, Schnieder is replaced by Nils Lundkvist (who is better anyway), and Georgiev is replaced by Kinkaid or some other UFA signing

Value wise or skill wise? Because skill wise yes zibanejad and Strome are better right now. But value wise it's not even close. Hischier and Hughes have way more value
