There is a 1 for 1 deal between Robertson and Kupari making the rounds that has seemed to please both fan bases. Liked by both for addressing an area of need, while slightly cringeworthy in regards for what each will give up. The true sign of a good trade.

I like Vilardi alot, but he is on a higher tier than Robertson where LA fans won't go for it.

As has been said a few times, Vilardi is closer to the Turcotte/Byfield tier than the Kupari/JAD/Madden tier.

I'm aware. Different expectations for different players. Whether Kupari meets those expectations is yet to be seen. But I was under the impression he was viewed as more of a 2C.

Kupari's 2019-20 season was derailed by his knee injury at the WJC. He missed what should have been the rest of his first North American professional season. He came back this year and led the AHL in scoring before his call-up to the NHL. Looked pretty good on the Kings in limited ice-time during his 3-game call-up too.
