Winnipeg doesn't need LD unless they are a clear upgrade on Morrissey, Heinola, Samberg or Stanley which Jones isn't.

Appleton gets taken by Seattle by most peoples lists. I should have clarified that Appleton was coming from Seattle to Edmonton as part of the Kassian deal

Dougie Hamilton gets closer to 7 x $9,000,000 and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins probably in the neighborhood of 7 x $6,750,000 if not slightly more.

Appleton was taken by Seattle in expansion draft. Oilers then trade with Seattle to get Appleton. Winnipeg gets nothing

Not that team friendly, He'd easily command $7,000,000+ on the open market. So 7 x $6,750,000 is still a pretty team friendly deal.

Only way I'd ever trade Bouchard is if I could sign Hamilton long term. Frost is quick and has high hockey IQ pretty sure him and McDavid would kill it together.

Still wouldn't be good for the oil, theyve waited for a dman like bouch since Coffey!! It would not be wise trading him for a winger when we could just get a solid one in FA
