I dont hate this. I really loved Vesalainens game the past 2. Would like to see him stick over Harkins after Lowry is back.

Yep, one picture says a 1000 words just looking at the L5 at the Jets on the standings is enough

Honestly the Jets season looks bleak rn, confident they can bounce back but the issue is the playoffs.. it’s almost guaranteed they’ll go against EDM and honestly I’ll way rather face TOR

The way it’s looking I don’t want to play Heinola and burn a year of his ELC, that’s the only thing holding the coaching staff back from playing him..... right now he isn’t the answer, don’t get me wrong he’ll help but it isn’t enough

There's nothing to hear out Normie, this is all good.

I've been saying for a long time now it's time to put Wheeler on the 3rd line, he was better last night but he also took a stupid needless penalty that cost the Jets, he's slowed down and is probably still feeling the effects of his injuries, need to cut his minutes back and play the younger legs more like Vesalainen and Harkins!

The only thing I think should maybe be changed is Dubois should center the 3rd line and Stastny should center the 2nd line, honestly think they're both 3rd line players but Stastny is doing a bit better and should keep the old guys(#25 and 26) on separate lines.

Honestly hope Ehlers isn't rushed back or even returns, he's my favorite Jet but I can't see this team getting past round one, I'd hate to see him reagravate this injury and have it become a long term nagging thing that'll hamper his play in the future.

Vesalainen and Harkins should be top 9 staples for the rest of the regular season imo, I know Lowry was having a great season but they need to see what these two can do and they need their speed in the lineup,
Perreault-Lowry-Lewis would make a good 4th line though I think Dano and Toninato should draw in for some games on the 4th line, again need some younger legs with speed and physical play.

Just my $0.02.

Playoffs don't affect ELCs so he could play and there are only so few season games left you could still get him in a good chunk.

That is truly profound. awesome face

I like the idea of putting players who have defensive consciences with Scheifele, Wheeler and Connor as they have demonstrated that aren't defensively responsible enough.

I also like giving Heinola a chance since the remaining games are unlikely to change the order of the division so that puts less pressure on him and gives the coaching staff more room (and less excuses) to give others a chance to improve the D-corps.

Playoffs do impact the ELC slide according to the folks at capfriendly. That said, they shouldn't worry about burning a year of the ELC if they believe Heinola is ready.
