Terrible for Philly. Taking on 2 ancient players paid 8M a year for like 15 more years and giving up prospects

Sharks say no too IMO. The best option is just to compensate SEA to take Burns.

Patrick is expendable, but not for 2 awful contracts.

Sharks have a plethora of pretty decent young wingers, really aren't looking for a Voracek or JVR, let alone both.

What SJ's sorely lacking in is center depth. Removing Couture makes things even worse, especially with his BFF Hertl only 1-year away from being a UFA. A Couture trade would likely mean Hertl wouldn't want to stay, literally leaving SJ with 0 (!) centers if Gambrell, a 4C is taken by SEA as many project.

True, Patrick hasnt been that good compared to his first 2 years, AND people called his first two years "bad" so this year is even worst
