I am one of the rare fans that would like to keep Drouin, I don't think we have seen the best of him yet and he has already shown remarkable improvement defensively over the last 2 years. He is our best setup man and plays well on a line with either Suzuki-Anderson or Kotkaniemi-Toffoli can't wait to see him on a line where he can setup a guy like Caufield. Drouin makes the team better not worse, removing his play making abilities really hurts our lineup as is evident over the last week or so.

MTL isn't Trading him for that, he's 26 years old and has 3 seasons over 45pts and has 23pts in 44GP this year, they're not going to give him away. They're not trading for a guy who has a season high 10pts so far AND retaining on Drouin.
