    The biggest upset could be OTT making the playoffs by winning all their games and MTL loosing all their game... we are 9 pts away... and you have a possibility of 12 pts ahead

    Bad bad trade with MTL

    Tierney is value added, MTL has to pay to dump Byron and Kulak.

    For this to be accepted, MTL would have to retain 1M on Byron

    montreal won't retain salary cause they need cap space... like you said bad trade for both teams...

    mtl can't afford zaitsev at 4.5 mills ; ottawa would have to retain salary and it doesn't make sense either

    As an unbiased, non-fan of either team, why would Ottawa make that deal with Montreal? Seems like a really bad deal for Ottawa, taking two cap dumps and giving up a legit 3rd line center, and only getting a 2nd back. Am I missing something here?
