      Why would NYI pay a first to dump Ladd if he is just going to end up on LTIR?

      Also this is yet another team that is seriously lacking a top 6 centre of any kind. I think Francis will be less willing to take cap dumps so that he has space to sign UFA’s

      So you think Neal has the same value as Johnson? ... Neal is nothing but negative value. He can't play well and has a horrendous contract. Johnson is just a cap casualty. He can still play well and it won't cost that much to move him.

      Holl is getting protected in Toronto. No questions about that.

      Can't see Backlund being left unprotected when it's more than likely Lucic is.

      This doesn't seem realistic at all.

      Good call on taking sturm from the wild. He’s got great energy, can score and is young and cheep. He would be a a good selection and someone I’d hate to lose as a wild fan

      Bc he's good, and a CAPABLE mostly backup but CAN fill in as astarter also he's relatively young enough
