25-26 is the first year Parise/Suter come off the books for MN. Add in a Spurgeon buyout and that's $20m MN would have to go shopping with.

I think the sabres will win one of the next 10 cups as well, because we actually have some prospect depth now...we could look like colorado in 2 years with good prospect development.

Panarin will not be our best player in 5 years. I’m certain that in 5 years that’ll be one of our young guys as Panarin will be on the down swing of his career.

Anything's possible, but we all thought the current rebuilded sabres would do well, and we all know how that turned out. Something needs to change besides players, because there no question, that team has talent right now, but they are still crap. A change of players likely isn't going to do much.
