avs would need retention or for the habs to take ej.

can't see anyone being interested in drouin until he returns from his personal leave. i'd assume he'd be ok by next season but never know.

Any deal involving Drouin will be very similar to the Galchenyuk trade. A one for one deal with two players struggling for their current teams and hope a change will do the player good, like it did for Domi.

Other than that Drouin has no value

I'm not so much a naysayer on Drouin as some and the Avs should probably take the deal here (once he's back from leave of course), but the issue is cap. Something would have to go back the other way.
