Doubt Toronto will pay Seattle to take anyone. They can choose between Dermott and Kerfoot, neither is a big loss nor hard to replace.

Good Point. My thinking was paying them not to take Holl.

Currently thats not a problem, the Leafs are set up for a 4-4-1. If they sign Hyman before the draft, thats the sign the plan has changed.

The Blues would be over the moon and back if Seattle picked Fitzpatrick. So ummm can you like go get a job on the Kraken drafting team and make this happen?

Why are the Bruins giving DeBrusk and two picks? Dumba+1st for? Drouin+2nd+3rd for?

Offloading contracts and so they don't take other players.

That was my question. Who are those other players?

Dumba doesn't need a pick to entice Seattle, neither does Drouin, or Debrusk. There are way better player to pick then Fitzpatrick from STL, also Frans Nielsen ?????

No. And this constant Sanford-bashing is exhausting. Too many Blues fans need to get over the pathetic designated punching bag routine.

Well... as much sense as you're making all over this comment, Drouin would probably require some sort of sweetener. Not as much as he's proposing, but something.

That also may well be. But I doubt you need to. He's fairly radioactive right now.

Sanford is complete garbage, turnover machine and lazy away from the puck. I have been saying it since 2019 and won't change my mind on it

Heh. NEWSFLASH: Even with the two recent bad turnovers at the line, he is still 2nd among Blues forwards in zone exit %. And has the fewest giveaways among regulars. And is 6th on the team in goals. And is 2nd on the team in cap $ per goal. And is 3rd among our forwards in both PK Corsi against and PK GA per 60. And does solid O-zone work on the boards. And, ya know, contributed to our first ever Cup. I could go on, but it doesn't matter because too many Blues fans just ignore the positive plays he makes and overplay the things he does wrong because they just simply MUST have a whipping boy every season regardless of reality. Nobody is saying he's an all-star and he has the talent to play better more consistently, but he's demonstrably far from " complete garbage".

2 points in his last 19 GP. The only real contribution he made in the cup run was getting his ass kicked. You can throw out all the advanced stats you want, they don't always tell the truth. He fails the eye test. The only reason he had somewhat decent numbers last year is because ROR carried him all year

Hilarious. And all eye tests are not created equal, because some eyes are connected to brains full of slanted nonsense. We're done here.

There is a 0.0% chance that the bruins leave debrusk unprotected. The notion that they would trade picks for Seattle to take him is a special kind of crazy.

Ha! Feel free to link the article where former NHLers say some obvious bull**** like "The only real contribution he made in the cup run was getting his ass kicked."
