Harris and Struble are two of our top prospects... And those two first are in one of the deepest draft in recent memories. If Werenski dont want to resign long term, thats a good return if they want to rebuild.

Nah. Jackets could do far better and not take on Neal. Take out Neal and maybe it’s considered if some weird things happen like werenski all of a sudden decides he really wants to play in canada.

Really one in a thousand? Look what Trouba did so he could leave Winnipeg as soon as possible. Accepted short term contracts. Was about to enter his last season as Jet so the Jets traded him to the Rangers. Believe Pulock of Isles signed the his last RFA contract that took him to UFA.

Drouin is a top 6 winger.... 50 pts min and the potential to be a 70pts guy especially playing witj McD. He simply cant take the pressure in MTL and fans arent fair to him tbh. Neal is basically worth a first alone (negative value) considering the fact he doesnt bring anything to a team... Hes just a lost 5,75 on your cap. Id say this is pretty fair and even in EDMs favor especially considering the pick is top 10 protect

You overestimate the ability of Drouin. His high water mark was in 2016....53 points in 73 games in 2016/17. Been downhill since then despite having the opportunity to get top LW minutes.

Not only did you fail to offer a #1C (the basic requirement for any Werenski trade), you're trying to saddle us with a cap dump.

I don't think the Oilers would even do Neal for Drouin straight up. The money is almost even and Tippet hates floaters. Certainly not a 1st and 2nd pick on top. Crazy. They could get a lower tier team to take Neal for a first round pick alone and get rid of the entire salary. Then use the money to pay a real top 6 LW.

If edmonton wants neal gone they will buy him out over 3 years they wont get rid of assets to move him.

Edmonton would more so be gunning hard for Tatar this offseason than trading for drouin.
