Description

This is what I would do as GM of Calgary. Build the team around Lindholm, Tkachuk, Dube, Pelletier, Hanifin, Valimaki, Andersson, and Markstrom.

Rangers move a long term contract for a better player on a 1 year deal. Schneider and the pick are included due to the length of contract for Kreider and the skill difference between him and Gaudreau. Maybe the 3rd is a 2nd but I'm not sure

Again I'm not sure on value but Columbus desperately needs a top line center. I see Monahan as being worth a middle 6 forward (Domi) another roster player (Gavrikov) and a high end prospect (Chinakhov)

Flames decline the gaudreau trade they don’t want Schneider they trade down so they didn’t get him and krieders contract isn’t very good. And the value is very far off gaudreau is way more valuable. Flames easily decline

The real issue is just that Kreider won’t waive likely but I don’t mind the idea

No way Chinakhov is being traded right now. Monahan just isn’t worth giving up up all that. I could see one of the two 1st we acquired being paired with Domi for Monahan but that is as much as I would trade for him.

Not bad but the Rangers are deep already on the wing.. Not what they are looking for! Also highly doubt CK20 waives his NTC...
