Description

Those two games vs Islanders were brutal.

Now, the Rangers need to win out (and win at least two games in regular time or overtime) and they need the Bruins to lose all their remaining games.

Boston is not losing all their remaining games. We had our chances and screwed up. Now the focus is on developing the young guys further, the draft and offseason to improve the team.

We should have taken those two against the Islanders. I never thought we'd catch Boston. But catching islanders was possible.

Until they absolutely spanked us. #Soft as butter. Better yet, it's looking like we'll move up from 16 to 15oa if DAL can wake up here, then thanks to ArizOwnA NoYutes 15 to 14oa

I know but if we won two against the Isles it would have been tight down the stretch. Islanders haven't been scoring since trade deadline - 30th in NHL in that period.
