I feel like San Jose wouldn’t do it cause they’re not great and unlikely to be good again for a while.

I think i would ask for san joses 2nd this year instead of their first. And i would add our 2nd next year. That 22 first is way more valuable. So we give them 1oa this year, plus our 2nd and 3rd next year- and in return we get their 22 first and maybe a 2nd this year. And i doubt they do it. But thats the disparity in draft classes. Nobody is mortgaging their future to move up this year.

Sharks give up Shane Wright to trade up for... a weak class, I'd see us taking Beniers. That's a no

While that Risto/Domi trade value in a vacuum favors the Jackets, I'm not convinced it ultimately helps the team. Girgensons isn't anything we don't already have several of (we need top-6 centers, not centers in general), and we've got plenty of quality wingers so Olofsson isn't going to be fixing any of the problems we've got here himself. Combine that with the repeatedly-turned-down Domi-for-Risto concept, and I think it's overpaying with the wrong kinds of assets.

Yikes dude there’s no way the Sharks make that kind of move.
