I did not focus much on the D pairings but look at the number of centers. Some of them have to play wing.

Marner?

You are a big fan of experience here. Marner and Barzal are guys I would put in instead of the older flyers guys. But then on defense you do the complete opposite. No doughty or Rielly. Guys I like more then who you picked are Ellis, Nurse and Chabot to name a few.

Couturier and Giroux are much more versatile than Marner and Barzal and can be used in more situations.

There wont be many situations you need to play those guys in if you have guys that can fill the net. You only need 4-5 PK forwards and ROR Bergeron Marchand and Stone can take care of that. IMO your team needs more spice its a very vanilla squad RN.

Marner is one of the best PKers in the league, and great on the PP. But still there's no way he misses out

considering Giroux didn't make the team when he was putting his best numbers earlier in his career he's probily not making it now. I also don't see tavares making it anymore, especially over marner and barzal.
