    Adin Hill , Dougie Hamilton and even Mike Hoffman reject those contracts. And Buffalo doesn’t think about that offer

    If you offered Dougie 15 years at that cap hit he'd probably accept but then you'd have him around until 42 and IIRC that's impossible at the moment so uh

    Arizona has a dearth of picks, prospects and quality players. They should only be interested in trades where they send one player and get multiple assets back, not trades where they send multiple assets and get only one player back. Note that in order to make the Coyotes a better team than they have now, you not only had to acquire Eichel but also add Hoffman, Hamilton, Martinez and Montour; without all that, even Eichel doesn't make them a playoff contender any more than they are this year. (And by the way, those UFA contracts for Hamilton and Hoffman just aren't in the ballpark.)
