So you would scratch their #1 pk forward and break up what has been a great combo on the 3rd line of Nichushkin and Jost to play Compher at 3C who has struggled mightily playing wing on the 4th line and bench Byram who was killing it defensively?

Jost would never be a healthy scratch in this line up and byram would be in the line up . Compher lost his job at 3c

Erik Johnson is out, he might be able to play the cup finals, that’s how long he is out for, Francouz is done, he won’t be back even for the finals so he won’t even be on the playoff roster

Saad plays LW on the avs, hasn’t looked good at RW

Starting Jost and maybe even Sherwood. Nemeth and Byram would be a great defensive pairing if they have the balls to sit Graves, along with Johnson who should be out.

Newhook is starting to force the issue, I’d keep him at 2C, keep with Kadri to protect him a bit. That allows Saad to drop to the 3rd line and I love the idea of Nichushkin, Jost and Saad. Then on the 4Th Compher and Donskoi make up 2/3rds and then Soda or PEB at 4C.

Girard is pretty much guaranteed to be ready for Game 1, Saad probably is but hes on track for the 1st round. Byram has been skating in Denver by himself, guys dont skate if they arent close to being back. Plan was for him to get eagles games before the end of the season to get his legs back, but Covid might have changed those plans with eagles games being postponed

Calvert and LOC are still out long term and EJ and Frankie are just RIP
