1. campbell stood on his head, sadly we couldn't get a W for him.
2. that nylander penalty wasn't a penalty. even the commentators said anderson literally fell...
3. it was a really solid and dialed in game from everyone until like the last 10 minutes (including overtime) when it just fell apart
4. liljegren looked really solid! he was getting in the way of pucks and plays, and was solid in a slightly more shutdown role.
5. morgan had a really, really great game. props to him. i've been hard on him but credit where credit is due; he was stellar tonight.
6. hope foligno gets better. that could be a big loss.
7. you may think 'nylander took two penalties, how could he be the third star' but he had a solid two-way (sorry, what?) game, and was carrying the puck and making the right plays. the anderson penalty was him forechecking very well and josh deciding to forget to skate.
8. matthews and marner missed a 2-on-0 in overtime. ...
