Description

Tell me "I'm out to Lunch" but I think these 2 guys def are players I could see move in the offseason which will help continue Stans "Re-Build".

Another 1st in this years draft is something we should be trying to achieve and with Toews returning I don't see a spot for Strome in the top 6. I think he could build chemistry with Lafreniere and Kakko or if not his brother is there. Rangers are further along then us so Strome would fit in as a young Centre over there.

The Zadarov move is purely down to my frustrations with some of the play from him this season. One thing is certain, he adds physicality which teams like the Caps love, so moved him there to give him a go with his Russian Comrades. If he can't get a 2nd in that case I suppose we would search for the best 3rd we could receive.

Please let me know your thoughts below.

*EDIT* For the Caps Trade, could also look at taking Samsonov instead of their pick and then we would need to add.

Give the Caps a Chara replacement from a size perspective. Russian. This ones a bit of a stretch as I didn't know which team to trade him to. He does hold some value. I would like a 2nd for him but we may have to give up something, this example uses a 3rd but it might be an overpay. Thoughts?

Correct, thats why I suggested perhaps we take on deangelo or add additional draft stock or prospects. What do you think should be added?

He is a Centre who could get the best out of Kakko. Yes he needs refinement on his defensive game but he's not a finished article. He is still a very good centre. I do like Strome very much, I think he is a 2C and for us with Toews returning he not getting that with us. Stan may see him as the 2c in a couple of years time but he's not getting centre minutes to develop the best as what he could with Rangers IMO.
