Montreal doesn't need to give up that much of their future and center depth for Eichel. I mean we are already doing better without him than Buffalo is doing with him!

Denault isn't signing that contract with Montreal just so he can be traded to the Sabres. Drouin isn't worth his 5.5.m contract. So you haven't offered Buffalo that much in immediate help.
Seattle wants to be good immediately. A lot better ways to spend 10.5m than on Price.
