The craziest thing I think with him might be that his 35 goals in 50 games in MHL this season came without an older player carrying his line driving the points etc.

Kucherov for instance scored similarly a year older

With a few older players driving the bus

            Unreal

            😳

Jets have no interest in the Zucker cap dump of 2 x $5.5 million. Jets have their own overpaid defensive liability winger (Wheeler is 1st percentile) and don't need another one (Zucker is 9th percentile).

The kid is 3 drafts away and not even the best projected player in his draft. I wouldn't be "tanking" for that any time soon. You'll lose a lot of fans and a lot of respect around the league

Rust is a UFA in the 2022 offseason. Firstly he's not going to get a $7+M contract and if he did why wouldn't Edmonton sign him to that themselves? Nobody signs a UFA and then trades him the next day for top-flight assets - that's not how the league works.

& Michkov is nowhere close to any of those 3. Burke and Hextall were brought in to win now as much as they can before Crosby and Malkin retire. They're not tanking. Burke isn't a big fan of tanking in the first place.

Hextall as a goalie doesn’t like tanking
