Large discount for Kingberg don't ya think?

He gets the same money as Ellis, which is fair. I could bump the term up though.

I just feel like this team needs a true 1st line winger, and I don’t think Kiviranta or Gurianov are/will become that player.

In my first part I said that we get a new and competent staff. If Gurianov is at least half decently developed he can become a first liner, if he's very well developed he can become a superstar. I get what you mean with Kiviranta, I put him with Gurianov because they have great chemistry. I could put JRob on the first line to solidify it, but he has to stay with Hintz. My lines are more based off of chemistry.

That is so far down the road...I am having trouble getting my head around for next year

Here are my comments besides the $ and term of the contracts:

- I doubt that Kiviranta and Pavelski will be Top 6 material in two years for different reasons. I hope we can find better Top six players.
- That 3rd line is sick and could act as a second line within a season depending on injuries and situations. I always said that when this team will have the "luxury" to play Benn as a Center on a 3rd line, we will be in business.
- Faksa is in a right place.
- I hope Bourque will be able to play on the Top six. Like JR this year.
- IMO, Gardner will never make the NHL as a regular. He is another Remi Helie
- I hope that Damiani and/or Mascherin will break the roster next year. These two with Dellandrea would be a fun "youth" line to watch.
- OK for keeping JO at that price and in that role but I would prefer we give the money to Vatanen and let JO walk.
- Lindell is the asset to be moved this year before the NMC kicked in. He could be part of a package to bring a solid Top six players or a great prospect.
- I would prefer to play Miro on the left side and put Harley with Klingberg. So, I say that we need to find a right D solid partner for Miro. Someone that will not have to be bailed out most fo the time. Let's unleash the talent within Miro.

Gardner can be switched, I'm just waiting on the time the others become good. I would rather have Oleksiak instead of Vatanen because in my first year version Heiskanen wouldn't have a partner, except if you put Vatanen there. Right now I'm busy, but later I'll maybe do something like that. The only problem is that there isn't a lot of options at D next year, a couple more the year after that.

Really depends how this off-season goes. I’m currently team retool so I’d like to see some new faces and a new head coach. Fine with Bones staying as defensive assistant. Unpopular opinion but I’m pro sign and trade Klinger. We need a young high end scoring winger in our system and that’s the only way I see us getting one other than getting lucky and finding another JRob

This is so far in the future it's hard to say anything really...but I think they should start changing the core from square one. Not only the coaching staff, but also some other assets.

It's a crying shame that Benn's contract is pretty much buyout proof. That's an anchor contract.
