It couldn't hurt to try it. It's not like it could make the Jets play any worse.

I’m really liking Stanley. He can really skate, and his vision is great. Had a tough play in last nights game but he’s usually very very solid. He’s also shown a few flashes of chara like play, just absolutely crushing chabot, then bouncing tkachuk away like a pinball. If he can work on improving his shot accuracy and his foot speed, he’d be an absolute force. Oh also do a bit of boxing over the summer and some weight lifting!

If I was coach I'd do some more significant changes, egos, age and seniority be damned!

I'd insert some younger guys who are looking to prove themselves, even if the wins didn't follow who cares, it's highly unlikely the Jets are missing the playoffs and a message needs to be sent, too many have gotten to comfortable on this team. Also there's other guys on this team who work hard every game and look like a game off would do them some good.

Ultimately though it's all just moving deck chairs on the Titanic as this team just isn't good enough or as good as many thought, at the very least it'd be refreshing to see some effort from different players looking to prove themselves instead of the 'mail it in' effort we're seeing from some now.

That last goal wasn't on Stanley imo, puck just took an unlucky bounce off a Sens player, there was more then enough time to recover after that happened but wtf the forward line was doing on that goal who knows, 9-17-22 should really be getting called out for that Zaitsev goal.

It was on Stanley for one reason...he completely screened the goalie instead of blocking the shot

Sure, fine he screened Brossoit but wtf were the forwards doing on that goal?? Zaitsev was wide open to walk in and hammer the puck, Copp took the puck from Brossoit when he was trying to cover it and then Lowry and Copp were shoulder to shoulder and both lost the puck to Brown, two of your supposed best defensive forwards lose the puck to one guy?! Appleton is down low when he doesn't need to be there, sure Stanley should take some blame but that entire forward line really **** the bed badly on that whole sequence.

Yes but any goalie saves that shot if they can see it

It's from the point...unless it's tipped, they don't go in

😂... Yeah cause no goalie has been beaten clearly by a shot.
